A turkey strolling across a field at Ruckle Heritage Farm. The farm maintains a population of around 30-40 Turkeys with 100 eggs incubated each year to produce chicks for sale and the remainder for meat. Ruckle farm was started in 1872 by Henry Ruckle and continues as Ruckle Heritage Farm within Ruckle Provincial Park on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada.
