A Spotted Sandpiper (Actitis macularius) after attempting to lead me away from its young in Sasquatch Provincial Park. I stopped alking along the beach after I saw the baby sandpipers and sat down. This photograph was made after the adult came back a few minutes later and seemed to resume normal activities.
