American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) at Boundary Bay

A watchful American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) perched on a log at Centennial Beach in Boundary Bay Regional Park - Delta (Tsawwassen), British Columbia, Canada. Previously recognized as a separate species, the Northwestern Crow (Corvus caurinus) has been included in the species American Crow since 2020. This individual was hopping from log to log while looking at the sand presumably for something to eat.
