Mount Slesse in Black and White

Mount MacFarlane, Crossover Peak, and Slesse Peak (usually called Mount Slesse) after a late winter snow. Mount Slesse a distinctive peak one can see from Chilliwack and nearby parts of the Fraser Valley. The word "slesse" is said to mean "fang" the Halkomelem language. Mount Sleese is also known as the site of the crash of Trans-Canada Air Lines Flight 810 in 1956. Photographed from Hillkeep Regional Park in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.
