Viewpoint near Old Millsite Park in Port Moody
old-millsite-park-port-moody-55934.jpg
Viewpoint over the Port Moody Arm of Burrard Inlet along the Shoreline Trail in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada. Noons Creek empties into Burrard Inlet near the right side of this photograph and many shorebirds feed on the old bits of salmon and other items deposited into the inlet by the creek. The pilings in the mudflats are from an old mill that burned down in 1949 - hence the name of a nearby park: Old Millsite Park. The fall leaves are provided by some colorful Black Cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa) trees.
