The Peace Arch (1921) looking towards Canada. Photographed from Peace Arch Historical State Park in Blaine, Washington State, USA. The Peace Arch was built in 1921 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of treaties at the end of the War of 1812 between the USA and Great Britain. One side states "Children Of A Common Mother", the other "Brethren Dwelling Together In Unity".
